Georgian Bay Minor Hockey along with Penetang Minor Hockey and Midland Minor Hockey is looking to hire a Bingo Coordinator for the upcoming season. This is a paid position with the selected candidate earning a $1000 Honorarium for the season that can be used to offset Registration Fees in the following season or paid out.

The role description is below:
The Bingo Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful operation of bingo fundraising for the Georgian Bay Minor Hockey Association. This individual will oversee all aspects of volunteer scheduling, compliance with licensing requirements, and coordination between key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
· Organize and schedule volunteers to ensure every bingo event is fully staffed.
· Monitor availability and confirm attendance of volunteers.
· If a scheduled volunteer is unavailable, the coordinator must notify the back-up scheduled volunteer to attend.
· If multiple scheduled volunteers are unavailable, the coordinator must quickly solicit additional volunteers to staff the session.
· If a bingo event cannot be fully staffed, the coordinator must cancel it within the allowed time frame to avoid penalties.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
· Submit required monthly and yearly reports to the Town in accordance with the lottery license regulations.
· Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and event outcomes.
Volunteer Training & Dress Code
· Ensure all volunteers are trained and qualified to perform their duties.
· Enforce dress code requirements and facilitate uniform procurement, including securing and distributing volunteer shirts.
Stakeholder Liaison
· Serve as the main point of contact between GBMHA, Delta Bingo, and the Town of Penetanguishene.
· Communicate updates, changes, and requirements effectively among all parties.
