Islanders U15B Advance as a True Team!
The Georgian Bay Islanders U15B squad has officially punched their ticket to the semifinals after an impressive round robin finish of five wins and one tie.
While the record speaks for itself, what stands out even more is how this group earned it, together.
Every game showed the strength of their teamwork. Lines rolled with trust and communication. Defense and forwards supported one another in all three zones. Players celebrated each other's successes and picked each other up after tough shifts. The bench was engaged, positive, and united from start to finish.
A special mention goes to the goaltending duo, who were steady and composed throughout the round robin. Timely saves, calm puck control, and strong communication from the cease gave the team confidence in every game. When momentum could have shifted, they held it steady and that consistency made a difference.
